Haircuts are walk-in only — no appointment needed and no appointment available. Just stop by Fading Traditions Barber Shop at 209 N Hill St in Griffin during business hours. We have ten barbers on the team, so wait times are typically manageable even on busier days.
The one exception is hair color services, which require a phone appointment. Call (470) 810-2691 to schedule color work with our specialist. We do not use an online booking system — all scheduling is handled by phone or in person.
There is no cancellation fee at Fading Traditions at this time. If you need to cancel or reschedule a color appointment, we appreciate a courtesy call so we can open the slot for someone else. You can reach us at (470) 810-2691 during business hours.
Since haircuts are walk-in only, there's nothing to cancel — just come in when you're ready. We're open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. We're closed Wednesday and Sunday.
Yes. Free color consultations are offered at Fading Traditions, typically at the time of your service appointment. If you're considering a hair color change and aren't sure where to start, our color specialist — with 40 years of experience and training at the Vidal Sassoon Institute — will assess your hair and walk you through options before any work begins.
For haircuts, your barber will always discuss what you're looking for before picking up the clippers. If you have a specific style in mind, bringing a reference photo helps.
Fading Traditions Barber Shop accepts cash, all major credit and debit cards, and mobile payment options. We also carry Reuzel and STMNT grooming products available for purchase in the shop if you want to maintain your look between visits.

Walk in, let the front desk know what you're looking for, and you'll be matched with a barber. The atmosphere is welcoming and community-driven — many of our clients have been coming since we opened in 2018, and whole families get their hair cut here. Don't be surprised if you see three generations in the same waiting area on a Saturday morning.
